Recipe
INGREDIENTS
• 60 ml — 2 oz Grand Cordon
• Lemon peel and pineapple chunk
• 1 Dash of aromatic bitters
• 1/2 tsp Caster sugar
• 10 ml — 1/3 oz Maraschino
• 15 ml — 1/2 oz Rye Whiskey
Story
The prince had many recipes under his name. This one is his personal version, said to have been inspired after his first visit to America in the 1860s
Method
In a cocktail shaker, muddle the pineapple add all ingredients (except champagne) fill with ice and shake well fine strain into a champagne coupe fill up with Grand Cordon garnish with pineapple
Tip
Make sure to use a mature pineapple to deliver the right tropical touch in the drink
