  • INGREDIENTS
    • 90 ml — 3 oz Grand Cordon
    • 10 ml — 1/3 oz Sugar Syrup
    • 10 ml — 1/3 oz Fresh lemon juice
    • Lemon peel

Story

The champagne sour made its appearance in the first American bartender’s manual published in 1882 in New York city

Method

In a chilled coupe add syrup and lemon juice fill up with Grand Cordon stir gently and garnish with a lemon twist

Tip

If you would like to amplify the sourness, increase both the sugar and the lemon juice to keep the drink balanced
