Rethinking champagne tasting in zero gravity But in space, the rules change. In microgravity, bubbles no longer rise naturally and liquids behave very differently. Even the simple act of pouring a glass becomes a challenge.
To address this constraint, Maison Mumm developed Mumm Cordon Rouge Stellar, a project at the intersection of design, engineering and Champagne expertise.<
A design created for microgravity These bubbles can then be captured using a specially designed glass created for the space experience.
In doing so, the system recreates what lies at the heart of champagne culture: the gesture of tasting and the shared moment of celebration. A moment designed to transcend gravity while preserving the spirit of champagne.<
