Recipe

  • INGREDIENTS
    • 90 ml — 3 oz Grand Cordon
    • 5 ml — 1/4 oz Pomegranate syrup
    • 5 ml — 1/4 oz Fresh lemon juice
    • 10 ml — 1/3 oz Martell Cognac

Story

This champagne pick-me-up was invented in the mid 1920s at the harry’s bar in Paris.

Method

In a cocktail shaker add all ingredients (except champagne) fill with ice and shake well fine strain into a champagne flute complete with Grand Cordon

Tip

You can either use’ pomegranate’ syrup or ‘grenadine’ syrup, the taste and color will evolve slightly from red to pink
