MUMM ROSÉ CHAMPAGNE, THE FRUIT OF VIRTUOSO BLENDING

True to the House’s motto, “Only the Best”, Mumm rosé champagnes are an expression of outstanding craftsmanship passed down over the centuries.

From harvesting grapes at perfect ripeness, to aging in the silence of the House’s historic cellars, every step in the creation of a Mumm champagne is given the greatest care and reflects the House’s uncompromising quest for quality.

Only the final blend, however, truly reveals the Cellar Master’s expertise. A key step in Mumm’s winemaking, blending is the art of combining still wines to create multifaceted champagnes that celebrate the richness of the Mumm vineyard. This is when the Cellar Master shapes the different champagnes found in the House’s collection: Brut, Rosé, Vintage, Blanc de Blancs or Blanc de Noirs.

For Mumm’s rosé champagnes, the Cellar Master blends 100 to 120 crus, of which approximately 15% are red wines. These are produced notably from Pinot Noir grown in Grand Cru and other Champagne villages renowned for their still red wines.

MUMM LE ROSÉ, AN EXPRESSION OF THE HOUSE STYLE

A unique blend of more than 120 crus from the three grape varieties—Pinot Noir, Meunier and Chardonnay—which complement one another to form an exceptional wine. Mumm Le Rosé reflects the richness of the Champagne terroir, the House’s inimitable style, and the Cellar Master’s craftsmanship. On the nose, it is characterized by aromas of red fruit, and on the palate it develops vivacious, fresh flavors that are balanced by the elegance of Chardonnay.

MUMM GRAND CORDON ROSÉ, THE BRUT CHAMPAGNE

Rosé champagne is part of a long-standing tradition at Mumm. The first Mumm Cordon Rosé cuvée was released in 1952 and served in the Elysée Palace. In 1958, the Franco-Japanese painter Léonard Foujita designed the rose which is today found on the capsule of the rosé brut champagne. This precious seal, familiar to friends of the House, pays testament to the friendship that connected the painter to René Lalou, Mumm’s CEO for over 30 years. This historic cuvée has, since its creation, encapsulated all the elegance of an exceptional wine.

Mumm Grand Cordon Rosé combines the sophistication of Chardonnay, the roundness and balance of Meunier, and the power of Pinot Noir. It is the fruit of the precise craftsmanship and passion of the House’s Cellar Master. Lively and intense, this brut rosé champagne reveals delicious notes of red fruit paving the way to a long and dazzling finish. An outstanding wine whose elegance is showcased in a sleek bottle that helps develop and release all of its aromas.

MUMM ROSÉ CHAMPAGNES: GOURMET WINES

Praised for their freshness and vivacity, Mumm rosé champagnes reflect the House’s excellence and desire to offer stunning wines to food lovers in search of new tasting experiences. They may be enjoyed as an aperitif or to accompany a meal in its entirety, pairing perfectly with not only the finest seafood, such as grilled lobster or marinated salmon, but also braised meats.

For sweet dishes, they marry beautifully with red fruit desserts that subtly draw attention to their fruity notes.
